Architectural Review Board
This committee is responsible for preserving the architectural and aesthetic appearance of Indian Summer. Consequently, no improvement of any natural, any exterior addition or alteration can be made without ARB approval.

Security Committee
The Security Committee is responsible for ensuring the safety of the residents by maintaining our gates, overseeing the guards at the guard house and the night patrol.

Community Liaison Committee
This committee keeps residents informed and entertained. The committee sends out e-blasts, newsletters, publishes and distributes the resident directory, keeps the website current and oversees the database in addition to organizing social events, the annual meeting, and welcoming new residents.

Maintenance Committee
The Maintenance Committee is responsible for maintaining all common areas of Indian Summer including streets, sidewalks, landscaped areas, storm water basins and retention ponds. In addition, they handle the mowing of vacant lots and property under the power lines as well as the installation of mail boxes.

The Pet Committee has been recently formed to assist the Board in promoting good pet citizenship in Indian Summer.

Ad Hoc Committee on Boundary Issues Committee
This Ad Hoc Committee should complete discussions with the OKI Corporation and receive signed agreements
on the following:
- Access to ISHOA property across Golf course property
- Permanent location of Guard House at current site
- Access to the Power line road to ISHOA property
- Hold harmless language regarding commercial use of the forest preserve
